SHC Citizenship

Please click the image to learn more about the Citizenship and Naturalization process from USCIS.
SHC partners with local immigration legal service providers to bring instructional workshops to families to explain the Citizenship application, interview and post interview process and answer general questions about filling out the application and what to expect in the interview.

SHC families who need assistance preparing and filing naturalization applications are connected to SHC legal partners for assistance.

SHC families seeking assistance with family reunification, SIV applications or other legal immigration questions are referred to other community providers or to pro bono attorneys in our community when possible.

Recently arrived families from Afghanistan seeking more information on immigration can visit the USCIS "Information for Afghans" page
