The Haitian Development Center of Delmarva provides case management services where they assist newcomers with accessing and applying for public benefits such as cash assistance, Medicaid, school enrollment, ESOL class enrollment, employment application and referrals.

The AOP helps connect new asylees statewide to services and benefits they may be eligible for, while providing needed case management and support. AOP staff lead outreach activities statewide to ensure that new and existing asylee populations are aware of their eligibility for programming funded by MORA and others.

MORA’s Extended Case Management Program is designed to provide ongoing and intensive support and assistance to eligible populations not already receiving such help from other programs. ECMP provides eligible clients with the help needed to overcome barriers preventing them from achieving self-sufficiency, social integration, and access to benefits and community resources necessary for success and well-being in the U.S. ECMP grantees provide needed case management support to address these barriers and help clients and their families achieve their goals in the U.S.

HIAS’ Legal and Asylum Department offers case management and volunteer support to those seeking asylum and humanitarian relief in the US.
Eligibility:
Individuals must have a fear of returning to their countries and earn at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
How to Apply:
Individuals may contact the Legal and Asylum intake line at 301-844-7248 the first Friday of each month between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to schedule a legal consultation. Social services are available to clients receiving legal services from our department.
