Help refugee and newcomer children start the school year with fresh new uniforms and supplies.

Since 2018, SHC has provided uniforms and school supplies to nearly 2,000 children of newcomer and refugee families in our community.

SHC works closely with schools and other community organizations to provide newcomer students with the essential supplies and information they need to start the school year off right.

SHC’s Back to School event is more than just a supply drive - we turn it into a celebration, with games and facepainting for kids, and a community resource fair for adults.

We need your help!

Financial donations enable us to buy uniforms and school supplies in bulk and make sure we have the right materials for each student.

Get together with a group of friends, colleagues, or neighbors and fill pencil cases with school supplies. A perfect project for youth groups, scout troops, and service clubs!
