The Rockville Emergency Assistance Program (REAP) provides emergency assistance to individuals and families living in Rockville, MD who are facing a financial crisis. REAP provides direct financial resources to help Rockville residents avoid eviction or utility termination, or to obtain needed medications or medical procedures.
REAP also provides referrals to Montgomery County residents for local food banks, clothing centers, vision and dental clinics, and computer resources.

Homes Not Borders is now accepting applications for Montgomery County, MD residents.
The Moving Up Fund provides any recently displaced person seeking training or mentoring with cash assistance of $2,400 (which equals approximately half their rent for three months and will be paid directly to the landlord) so they can afford to take time off for training or mentoring, enabling them to “move up” in their careers and improve their income potential.

Community Reach of Montgomery County offers housing for women and men. The Jefferson and Rockland Houses provide permanent, supportive housing and case management services for formerly homeless men and women.

Interfaith Works (IW) offers a variety of short-term emergency shelter and holistic case management services to IW clients. IW has additional shelters for all genders (and non-clients) and for women specifically. They also offer permanent housing for adults with disabilities and other vulnerabilities.
